Subject: Replacement steel cabinet shipment
 Hello Men,
I've been contacted by ABF Freight in Maryland to say they have our
replacement steel cabinets and would like to make arrangements for
delivery.  You may, or may not, know that we had ordered two steel cabinets;
one for the Sunday school and one with clear doors for Father's altar
things. When the cabinets arrived some weeks ago, they were damaged and in
the case of Father's cabinet, was not the one we had ordered with clear
doors. I've been in contact with the company I'd ordered them from to
replace the damaged cabinets and they have finally arrived. We will deal
with sending back the damaged ones after we receive the correct and
undamaged order.
The reason I'm writing is that I'm going to be out of town until Friday
the 31st. I'd like to know if anyone has time to receive the shipment. It
is to be delivered by a truck with a lift gate. The first time I received
the cabinets the driver lowered them to the ground and we put them on a
dolly and together pushed them to the office door. They are big, but not
terribly heavy. You will have to inspect them thoroughly for damage while
the driver is still there. We have the right to refuse the delivery if they
are also damaged or again not the right ones. The last time I'd received
them, they gave me a 4 hour window and I'd asked that the driver call me
when he was 1 hour away. Please let me know if any of you has time at any
point next week to do this. If not, I'll be home the following week and may
be able to do it myself.
Also, I know Pat had mentioned that Anne would have liked a larger
cabinet than the 36" wide one that I'd ordered. I tried to replace it with
a larger one, but it was not possible because the replacement order was
automatically generated by the company I'd ordered from when I originally
called about the damage. If we really don't want the cabinet let me know.
Perhaps we can refuse delivery of that unit and deal with a refund with
K-log ( the company I'd ordered from).
                                        Thanks,
                                            Jim
