I was hoping to be able to call ABF Freight to arrange both pickup &
delivery of the cabinets while I've available time. As per Jim's email, ABF
could pick the current ones in the back-office and make delivery of the
correct cabinets.
I've called ABF to arrange the delivery of the cabinets before noon
tomorrow.
Here's the delivery information:
tracking # 042-090-583
ABF Balitmore office #: (410) 796-8800.
ABF will only make the delivery of the cabinets! They will not pickup the
previously delivered/damaged cabinets. They said, we need to make pickup
arrangements with either the cabinet manufacturer or supplier of the
cabinets.
I called both the cabinet manufacturer (Sandusky) and the supplier (K-Log)
about this.
Sandusky (1 800 233 7076 ext. 221) said to call K-Log their supplier.
I called K-Log about arranging a pickup of the previously delivered/damaged
cabinets. According to the customer service rep, Jim has made arrangements
with the K-Log supervisor regarding pickup and return arrangements. We (the
parish) will inspect and take or refuse delivery of the new cabinets. The
damaged cabinets will be stored at the parish until K-Log can file a claim
against either ABF or Sandusky for the damage of the merchandise. After
the claim is filed and disposition of the damaged merchandise is settled,
K-Log may arrange the pickup of the cabinets at a later date.
Here's the K-Log information on the cabinets:
http://www.k-log.com
Phone: 800-872-6611
Cabinet Order #: 7162316-RTLW
That's all I know for now.
Obviously, the back-office will be filled with cabinets. I'll try to get
to the church early and rearrange the back-office to make room for the new
cabinets. Due a previous commitment, I can only be at the church until noon
tomorrow. We me need someone to "cover" the delivery time in the afternoon,
if AFB doesn't show in the morning. If someone is available for the
delivery in the afternoon, please let me know ASAP. Here's my cell # (571)
332-1750.
