Welcome to St. Luke !

We welcome you to St. Luke. Whether you are already Orthodox or are still looking for the right church for you and your family, we invite you to “come and see”. As an Orthodox church, our faith is that proclaimed by Christ and handed down through the Apostles and the fathers. As a parish, we are a welcoming community of various ethnic backgrounds and ages who come together as one in the love of Christ. We invite you to come worship with us and then join us in our ‘coffee hour’ to share fellowship together.

THE PRAYER OF ST EPHRAIM

O Lord and Master of my Life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power, and idle talk. (Prostration)

But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience, and love to Thy servant. (Prostration)

Yes, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own sins, and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou unto ages of ages, Amen. (Prostration)

Lord have mercy (12x), each time accompanied by a bow down)

O Lord and Master of my Life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power, and idle talk;  But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience, and love to Thy servant;  Yes, O Lord and King, grant me to see my own sins, and not to judge my brother, for blessed art Thou unto ages of ages, Amen.

 (Prostration)
